Volunteer as a group
Friends, student groups, families, or work teams - volunteering in a group can be a great way to meet people and harness skills & teamwork to accomplish more than you could on your own.
Dragonfly has years of experience working in Thailand with both individuals and groups. We're proud to be a small team which is therefore flexible enough to tailor volunteer projects, large and small, to the sizes, ages or participants, skills, and goals of your group.
Group Volunteering Projects
You can choose the type project you'd like to be involved in, or even mix a few different types:
Education
- teach language skills (English or otherwise) or other special subjects (technical skills, arts, personal health, etc.) in the classroom as well as in informal settings
Building
- use sustainable construction methods and natural materials which are cheap, plentiful, and environmentally sound to build much-needed buildings for schools, communities, and orphanages
Conservation
- work in parks and sanctuaries to protect wildlife and natural environments and to educate the public about the importance of conservation
Childcare
- bring fun-filled activities to children living at orphanages and group homes and enhance their homes through renovation, building, and decoration
Sustainable Living
- learn the essentials of permaculture by living in a low-impact, sustainable environment: building, gardening, waste management, passive utilities, and more

Fees are assessed on a case by case basis, depending on how many in your group, volunteering duration, and the project that you choose. Larger groups can share costs and this enables us to keep the per-person costs significantly lower than for individual volunteers.
We'll also aid and support your fundraising efforts for bringing your group to Thailand. We can also aid and support your group fundraising efforts for bringing your team to Thailand.
We help organize volunteering for groups of 6 or more people and ask that participants be aged 15 years and up (below 18 will also require teachers or other supervision).
