TESOL on the Beach
Teaching English as a Foreign language (TEFL) and as a Second or Other Language (TESOL) certificates have become international standards for the English-teaching community. Whether you're looking for comprehensive training before a volunteer placement or considering a teaching job, these training courses are an excellent way to improve your skills and confidence while providing you with internationally recognized certification.
How It Works
Dragonfly offers a deal on a 4-week TESOL course based the beautiful seaside location of Phuket - a lively city on Thailand's most popular island!
You'll study the 120-hour course M-F for 4 weeks, under the tutelage of an experienced TESOL trainer who will help you through all you'll need to know to understand the nuances and challenges of your own language and how to teach it to others. You'll also also have a lot of chances to observe other teachers and then be observed yourself while teaching!
Aside from some homework, your weekends and evenings are free for you to sample the many delights that the location you chose has to offer, from nightlife to lounging on the beach to trekking in the mountains!
Once the course is completed, you'll obtain a TESOL certificate, recognized internationally as a qualification for teaching English to non-native speakers.
