The deposit for this volunteer opportunity is THB 20,500. The remaining balance must be paid 8 weeks before your arrival.

Option 2: TEFL on the Beach in Thailand
This internationally recognized teacher training course provides 120 hours of tuition and observation in Teaching English as a Second or Other Language with a focus on teaching in Thailand, and a further 8 hours of practice teaching. The course is a perfect match for long-term volunteers or those who are looking for certification to teach all over the world. The best part is that this course is offered on world-renowned Phuket Island in the stunning Andaman Sea!
This course includes instruction in a broad range of topics, including:
- identification of potential student problems
- the English language sound system
- current teaching methodologies
- student needs analysis
- lesson planning and creating materials
- the nature of language
- classroom management techniques
Most importantly, you will be guided through the process of planning, preparing, and implementing a lesson, and you’ll be given guidance and constructive feedback for your teaching practice sessions.
Once you have obtained your teaching certificate, you’ll travel to Khorat for a day of language and culture training, then off to your placement to meet your homestay hosts and start your volunteer service!
