Dragonfly’s Sponsor-A-Child Project began as a limited response to the 2004 tsunami but is blossoming into an international effort, with generous donors in several countries. Our aim is to provide immediate and long-term help to orphaned and otherwise disadvantaged children that genuinely need our support.
How We Help
Dragonfly searches out children in need of financial support for nutritious food, shelter, and school fees. We then connect these children with caring sponsors or donate funds to help them with bills for school, food, or even health care. We also run special events for children in our program with the help of our volunteers (sports days, English camps, etc.)
What You Can Do
With your help we can provide the children in our project with the support that they need. You can help this project directly by making a donation or by organizing a fundraising campaign on behalf of the children. You can also make a long-term commitment by becoming a sponsor and helping to provide a child with his or her monthly needs. What might seem a small contribution to you can mean the world to a child in need.
